I teach private and group Yoga classes from Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club and a small Yoga Studio In Glasnevin. I have taught yoga for Dublin Institute of Technology, Secondary Schools, gyms and Yoga studios.
I am also currently running Yoga Classes in Santry for both the I.C.A. and the Trinity College Dublin American Football Team.
I attended my first yoga class in 1991 and it immediately struck a chord with me. In 1995 I qualified as a Hatha Yoga Instructor and began teaching. I then went on to study Anatomy & Physiology, Reflexology, Nutrition and Meditation.
I then became aware of the Yoga teachings passed down from Sri Krishnamacharya. Firstly Iyengar Yoga, then Ashtanga Yoga.
I qualified as an Ashtanga Yoga Instructor in 2002 and then went on to study Viniyoga, which I found invaluable during my pregnancies and in dealing with old injuries. I also dabble in other forms of yoga as I believe there is no one way to practice or teach Yoga. There is something valuable to be learned from all forms. Yoga is simply Yoga to me.
I have had the good fortune to study in Ireland, England and India with some of the world's top Yoga teachers and I continue to update my studies.
